Across Surrey there is a vast range of families with children under 5.
Each Children’s Centre is provided with local information such as population, numbers of children under 5 years and levels of unemployment.
We are also provided with data from local schools that gives us an insight into what we can do to support children before they enter school.
Health partners produce data linked to childhood obesity, accidents in the home and levels of breastfeeding.
As well as this information we also gather local data from our partners such as nurseries, health visitors and schools to support our work.
From all of this information each Centre can then identify priorities for our areas that will support children’s and families and help give each child the best possible chance in life.
